A DDoS attack targeted one of the IP addresses in our network, with traffic volume exceeding our capacity. Although this traffic should have been handled and scrubbed by our provider, the configured ACL allowed all traffic to reach the targeted IP.
The ACL rules were corrected to properly filter the traffic and mitigate the issue.
